What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Polished my rear screen to remove the awful marks in the glass from the rear wiper blade that have accumulated over the past nine years.

Yes pal....it looks like a new screen now. I was going to take pictures of before and after but it was hard picking up the scratches in the before pics.

Took about an hour to do but was definitely worth it
 
What did you use Carl as I need to do my windscreen and drivers window m
 
today i have mostly be changing coilpacks. unfortunately i am becoming an expert

1.8t, had 4 changed when 1 started playing up, then a few weeks later one of the new ones failed and blew a fuse #29. now i have started doing my research i wish i had done the upgrade to tfsi or r8 coils. if another one goes then its decision made!

Is that what you used mate? I've got a DA so no worries on that side.

I owned a s3 for 8 years mate and ran the r8 coil packs and it never once blew a coil. When one goes them the rest always follow. For the cost of them mate, £80 I think from awesome I'd buy a set and fit them.
 
It's near as damn it what I used. The only thing you may have to do is find out what thread your pad uses on your DA and use a die to thread the spindle of the smaller backing plate.

You could always use your hardest pad that you already have and just purchase some Cerium Oxide.

Ever driven one? I love my little Audi but I would have a 430 scuderia over anything else ;)
 
Ok so this might need a little explaining... lol
I'm into graphic and logo design and have recently started using a plotter to cut vinyl. I am a bit obsessed with yellow. So Drew and cut some side stripes more to see if I could do it. Stuck them on and actually quite like them. Not to everyone's taste. And can always peel them off if I grow up at any point soon. ;-) lol

I like those something a bit different. Like how it matches the calipers seriously considering asking you to do me some green ones. Lol
 
Looks great, not what you would call subtle but it definitely works!

My previous job was doing vinyl graphics, did it for 14 years. You have to give it a go, you never fully know what works without trying. And materials are cheap, it's just the labour that builds the cost up.

Well I can safely say mate , there is deffo a yellow theme at work here...lol.
But in a strange bonkers kinda way I like it, it does look , well different but not in a bad way, it matches the calipers too.
I have to give you 10 out 10 for just thinking about it let alone applying it, good onya.

I have just remembered what it reminds me of chap, I had Porsche 944 lux many, many moons ago with a very similar setup , except it was a black full length strip , same sort of height aswell and said "Porsche " along the rear quarter panel , on a guards red bodywork, I loved that aswell.
It looked so mad at the time , that it just seemed so right aswell.....I used to get so much flack about it looking way to brash , but hey it was my car so politely told them to bog off....lol

Well after getting the new screen fitted which seems like years ago now and polishing the rear screen so it looks nice and new, I thought I'd treat her to a new set of blades all round and treat all the windows with Gtechnic Clearvision Smart Glass.

Fingers crossed now that they have been treated the sun will shine for the next few weeks at least.....knowing full well I want it to rain to see what all the hype was about.

Also split my Bi-Xenons again to put my clear indicator lenses and a big thanks to @ajax1976

I also de-butyled them, applied new butyl tape and I'm hoping to get the outer lenses flatted off tomorrow and give them a coat of UV lacquer to seal them.

And then get them onto the car asap.....

Took the old girl for a health check and happy to say she passed her m.o.t another year on and no nasty bill.

Had the Wagon mapped yesterday and it's a whole different animal! Enough torque to bump start a planet. lol

Had it done at VRT in Slough, who use moreBHP maps. Couldn't be more pleased with the service received and the performance improvements from the map.

Haha thanks mate.

I know from past experience of having my cars mapped that more often than not it highlights weak points.
So fully prepared for needing new clutch, flywheel, brakes, wishbone bushes etc etc lol
 
Well all I've done today is spent most of the day on the phone to the police and insurance as when I got up thi morning I'd found someone had run down the full length of the Mrs car and int the o/s/f of mine looks like new bumper wing and bonnet. Safe to say I'm not a happy bunny
