What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Yeah was I bit of a pig at first but used a wrench extension through a bolt hole in the alloy into the hole in the disc lined it up perfect bolted up all good

How the hell did you get the calipers so cheap?

Rang the scrapers asked if they had any Touareg calipers the guy said yeah I said how much he said £50 I said I'll be there in ten minutes lol went down paid but had to wait for them to come from another branch. When I went to pick them up I was informed the lad had been sacked for selling a number of high value items too cheap.

I have the 350 kit and 6 pots to do, i have all the bits now however i am not keen on running front spacers, just taken 5s off as vibration through the wheel
Back to 3mm, however i r un 8.5 19s so hopefully have a little more clearance

It will all depend on the offset of the wheel it wasn't the circumference of the wheel that was the issue but the back of the spoked fouling the caliper. Just passing on what I found

Cheers, I'm ET43 same as standard

I recon you will probably need spacers. At least if you have them and don't need them you can sent them back if you don't need them. I have spacers no vibrations.

Took delivery of a 2nd 'Genuine Carbon front ashtray' only to have it delivered and when compared to my other Genuine piece this looks hydro dipped to me. Either way it's going in the classifieds for free - yes free all I will want is postage paid.

Will put pics up to show what I mean soon.

Glad I got the other one haha

It doesn't even look like carbon fibre more black and grey chequer board. I'd not be best please if I received that as genuine carbon fibre

Think it's the photo as the part numbers are the same!

For what it cost me I don't care haha - hence why it's going for free.

They have also twisted it while they've dipped it look at the right side the pattern doesn't run straight

I messaged him to say I hope he was clueless as if he knew then that's a whole different ball game.

Good job I actually don't care! In other news Finally got the window chrome trim covered in the clear plastidip to make it matt.

Any pics of what it looks like?

That looks really well, making me reconsider plasti dipping mine black.

You do it outside? How many Coates?

well that looks really good chap, love the dual tips, brilliant stuff.
I'm not a big fan of the S4 valance though, it looks nice but a bit boxy if that make sense, if it were more rounded and smoother and contoured it would be perfect from my line of thinking, I had an S4 valance and didn't use it in the end for the same reason I think the dual outlet valance for single round tips just looks the nicer item , but hey that's just me mate if I could find a valance that was the same as my current item but would permit dual tips then that would be great, but just cant find the right one as yet.
anyways , great looking cab, nice.

Thanks bud, I kind of agree about the valance but was the only option
The car was mint except the centre pipe and sound was poor (it's a V6 diesel so never was going to sound great)
Had system from DPF with a Y piece going to two smaller boxes (also 12KG lighter) sounds quite a bit better for a derv

Got it back after the clutch and flywheel swap, apparently the old one was quite worn :(

Found a knurled 12 socket blank at work (PDI had an extra one in the tech left on my desk haha) which matches the cigar lighter torch I'll store in the boot. :)

As I'm not a chrome with silver fan I originally swapped the badges to 'dipped' carbon fiber, but since getting the OEM interior trim I've not been happy with the standard.

So just swapped the originals back on but gave them a plastidip clear coat like my grill/window surrounds.

Sure they will change again at some point

Are these off a Bentley?? much better than the lighter.

have to say i like the silver

Matt finish from the plastidip is my preference over the fake carbon

Well it's all in and done /back together but I have a let's say query.... I've jacked up drivers side and turned wheel/cranked engine 2 times I see my belt tensioner moves from the marker when I'm turning the wheel but it times back up perfect all tools slot in free and marks spot on after I crank it by hand 2 and alighn it back up my tensioner marker is bang on ???
So basically should my tensioner move when engine rotates ie out of tension slot area ie pointer on tensioner moves?

Image
Here's a pic see the see the point in between above the actual belt ribs it's central this moves forwards/backwards ?

Yep, the lighter blank was from a Bentayga PDI. The torch is one of the genuine accessories Bentley sell.

Fitted my LHD headlights ready for Germany and if you haven't took your bumper off yet you need too, the amount of s**t in the vents was unbelievable.

One thing that has bugged me is I now have a bigger gap between the bonnet and the grill, the bumper must of come off/on about 20 times but I just can't get it to sit the same as before but for now it will do.

Also I now have the choice of either clear lenses or orange, not sure which one looks better!
