Clutch, DMF & Service in Wiltshire, reccommendations please?

Hi All

Been lurking for a while and finally need some advice..........

Clutch/DMF has gone on my A3 TDI 170 and I'm hoping somebody can recommend a good mechanic in the Salisbury, Wiltshire area? Long shot but you never know?

I'd like to avoid the dreaded main dealer costs if possible but I'd also like to have the car serviced at the same time. Would it be worth just biting the bullet at the main dealer for the sake of maintaining the FASH and stamps? Car has just gone 106000 so not sure how valued the Audi service history continues to be on a 8 year old car that I'll probably keep for at least another 3 years and up to 150000 miles. Any thoughts?

I used to live in Royal Wootton Bassett and that point I used Dialynx. They did a clutch for me and looked after my car for about 6 months. I know that doesnt sound a long time but they did a lot of upgrade work in that period. Suppose the main thing here is that they are still a fair way from Salisbury and although they are in Wiltshire its bit of a drive to get to them.

Can't help with the area , but dealer history isn't that important in my eyes lo g as the work has been done , I'd rather have a vag specialist stamp than a main dealer

There's a VAG specialist in Christchurch Dorset, still a bit of a drive but only about an hour and you'd have a nice drive home. Is your car driveable ?
