Avant Auto 1.9 stalling?

Hi, thanks to anyone who can shed light on this. I bought an 54 plate A4 avant recently(end of October). It's an auto, but stalls at low revs - makes a huge bang when it cuts out, but feels like its stalling just before it does it.

It's a daily occurrence - to be honest, happens every time i drive - to and from work and is pretty poor when you have the kids in the car.

Can anyone shed any light on what it might be? much appreciated for the advice. Matt

What is your location? If you look on the link bar (red) at the top of the page, you will see 'VCDS MAP'. Click on that and search for someone close by to you, who can come along and scan your with VCDS software to retrieve any fault codes that may be stored from your stalling problem.
Or you can purchase VCDS yourself through Ross-tech website or from @NHN on here. The software isn't the cheapest in the world but it is the most invaluable piece of kit to help with keeping your car in tip-top condition.
