Audi are doing a 25% discount on service plans at the moment. Worth picking up if you've got an S3. I just paid £374.25 for the plan for my S3.

Just make sure you get haldex serviced at an independent dealer or specialist so they clean the filter.

I was looking at this this morning too but it still seems quite steep to me even with the discount, it quotes that the plan includes a oil change and a oil change and inspection plus pollen filter.

But as my car is 3 going on 4 years old it will need a major service within the next 2 years which this plan doesn’t seem to cover.

An Audi plan at 25% discount is still likely to be 50% more expensive that a good independent, many of whom will update the on-line service record as well, and be "warranty safe".

I believe the major service is the same as inspection service. So it would be covered.

My cars at Audi today for some warranty work as it happens so when I pick it up I’ll ask. It’s not a bad deal if it includes a major service. But the website does still quite major and inter

I don’t think much to the warranty website, according to my reg my car is under 3 years old even though was registered on the 01/03/2017 :whistle2:

edit - just seen the small print it excludes S models above 2.0l so my S5 is excluded from the deal anyway

Just to add clarification to this offer, because it is not as good as the previous offer running in the Summer.
The 25% discount only applies to cars between 3-15 years old
10% discount applies to cars between 0-3 years old.
Same as previously though, S models above 2000cc and RS are excluded.

I picked up this service plan today as mine is going in soon. Although my 14 plate has only done 23K, they said that they advised a Haldex service every six years, so they're doing mine in a fortnight along with the main service.

Most pumps fail within 5 years and if you’ve got extended warranty your covered!

Do a quick read up on haldex

My A3 is on variable service intervals so usually only has a service every 19k miles. Will this service plan apply?

Apparently not if you are on a variable service schedule.
Here is a quote from the small print -
"All cars must be set to the fixed service regime by the Centre."

I went for this for my 64 plate. Next oil change due at end of Feb and major service a year later. £374.16 seemed reasonable to me.

I have a service plan on my saloon, the car was set on variable service which means it wouldn’t be due until next year. Audi never mentioned the plan wouldn’t cover variable. There’s only 8k miles on it now, I must get it booked in just in case they refuse to cover it if I leave it to variable service.

I have the same car as you - 2014 S3, and I am still getting quoted £499. Unsure why? Mileage 37k.
Might anyone have any ideas before I call tomorrow?

Have you asked specifically about the discount? When I was offered this, I was told that there were a finite number available from Audi.

Prices on the website have increased to £499 (after discount) today. My presumption is that the front page hadn't been updated and so when I clicked through yesterday, the 'new' price was being shown.

I simply couldn't face going into bat with them on this. Would rather take my money to a decent independent. Last time my car came back from a service with them, there was still tissue stuffed in the engine bay.

I would like to have kept up the FASH, but they really do not know how to reward loyalty.

Yes the discount is no longer valid and the quoted prices are back to normal, but they are still stating "Prices below include 25% discount available for Audi's 3-15 years old"
So never mind not rewarding loyalty(which I completely agree with), whoever deals with the online side of things cannot seem to carry out the most basic of tasks competently. :anguished:

Yeah even with the discount though it was debatable whether it was still worth it, guess the only bonus is having full Audi service history so staying in their good books in terms of warranty work and goodwill gestures should something catastrophic go wrong.

I got quoted over £600 for a minor inspection and oil change, plus Haldex at my main dealer. It went to an independent and I paid just over £250 with full service history updated on Audi’s system. I didn’t get penalised when I sold my car on either the dealer wasn’t bothered in the slightest and actually said it doesn’t make any price difference in terms of their valuation.

Audi are now doing a 2021 service plan with 25% off untill the 12th Dec 21
They are also doing the Audi all in with 25% off. So 2 year warranty, 2 services, 2 mots and 2 years AA break down cover for £588 or £24.53 per month.

Was looking at that really not a bad price when you consider what the AA would charge for that level of breakdown cover. Do wonder about the warranty though, it mentions sudden failure, what happens if it’s not sudden e.g. leaking/ failed thermostat.

I believe the major service is the same as inspection service. So it would be covered.
I don't think my car will be going to Audi next time. I've just had the so called 'major' service and as far as I can see I paid £125 more than the 'inspection' service and all I got for it was a pollen filter. It's an awful lot of money for a visual check. The 'fluid level check' does no more than check what's under the hood and doesn't even include a gearbox oil level check. I got the 'it's a sealed unit' garbage when I queried it. Indy for me next time. The car is 8 years old, so I don't think it will alter its value.
