full beam overpowered by dipped xeons

not done much night driving in the S3 but tonight i did. problem is the dipped xenons are so good (compare to last car) tbat when i put full beams on (std halogen) they make little to no difference in terms of light. all they seem to do is light up signposts theres no increase in distance at all.

i used to have orsam night breakers in the impreza and they were good. but i didnt have xenons to compete with. what bulbs do people recomend? do i need to go full beam HID?

I thought all S3's came with Bi Xenons as standard so the dipped and main beam are both from the same xenon bulb?

All 8P S3's had bixenons, so may just need adjusting, but the raised beam is the same bulb but a redirection with a motorised flap inside the headlights, unless someone has fitted halogens after an accident.
