EGR/COOLER

hi all,
can anyone tell me how easy/difficult it is to remove the EGR/COOLER, ?
i need to remove it to clean the EGR as i have that fault keeps coming up. p040300
i have been told that the EGR is part of the COOLER and looks a PIG to remove, looks like the exhaust has to come off for access. has anyone done this ? or is there any other way to clean the EGR as is ?

well chaps i have solved the problem SOLD the car gone back to what i know best.
1985 chevy step side pickup 5.0 small block v8 on lpg got it booked in at tony banks leeds for custom made exhaust stacks £1000 exspensive but worth the V8 SOUND

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to blank the EGR, gut the DPF and remap it? (and lots more fun!)
