Replacing B pillar exterior trim???

Hi!!

Does anyone no how to replace the b pillar exterior trim. Has anyone done it before? Is it a big job?

Ive ordered 2 new trims for either side...
 
just changed mine at the weekend. at the bottom of the trim you can see a little rectangle when all the doors are open, you slide that down or to the side and then you just unscrew a couple torx screws to get the trim out.

actually nvm is yours a 2 door? slightly different trims than mine

yeah mines a 2 door, it seems to all be one piece
 
If you open the door you will see three rivets holding it in, these need to be drilled out then you have to pull it away from the car slightly and push/pull it towards the rear of the car to release two hook clip type things. If you do a search theirs a guide on here somewhere as I looked at it when I did mine.

Ive looked for so long (probably gone past it a million times)

But for the life of me i cant find a removale thread :sos:
 
mask them, sand them, primer them, repaint them

much easier, someone will most likely buy your new ones anyway
 
Great mod. I replaced mine with the gloss black versions. Looks awesome.
