HIDs Not Level

Hi all, during nighttime driving I've realized that my HIDs are basically pointing down and visibility is terrible! They don't seem to autolevel during start up either.... is there a checklist procedure I should follow to determine exactly whats wrong with them?

They may just need a 'home' reset

Hmmm thanks, tried this and still nothing...pointing down

Did they move at all during the procedure?

Nope did see or hear them move

Motors may need to be replaced then... also check that the front and rear xenon level sensors are ok...

Ah okay, will this require replacement of the whole unit or can the motors be just replaced? I will check the level sensors tonight

Haven't had a proper chance to look to see if the actual sensors are okay but ran a full VCDS scan and it comes up with no errors? Would an error show if the sensors were broken?

Ah right , so I guess by process of elimination it must be the headlight motors?
