Hi,
I took my A4 2.0tdi Avant to a garage and they diagnosed that it needed a new steering angle sensor.
They've replaced it and reset it etc but the traction light is still on.

They seem to think it may be an electrical issue.
Any body had similar or know what the cause could be?
New battery, new SAS. they've done the driving down the road procedure too.

I assume that they have coded it to your car before doing the system function test?

I don't know is the truth. How do they do that??

It has to be done with VCDS mate, then once that's done perform the system function test.

Steering angle adaption can be tricky, its hard to follow the correct procedure as the vcds wiki doesn't always give the right procedure for the car listed.
