What have you done to your 8V today?

I have the factory storage pack on mine. Not sure if it should have come with the hooks or not, is a 63 plate, but only cost £5 and took less then 10mins to install :)
What's the part number to the hooks.? I want some

Did you the gtechniq panel wipe? if you did use that first, just a light wipe for a better bond to the paint

No not this time only had 1.5 hours so was just pressure wash, Maguiars gold class wash, pressure wash, dry and then applied C2 and buffed off. Water run off really well when I was caught in a downpour this afternoon.

I looked at it, it's not clean, not clean at all.

I doubt when I look at it later in the week it'll be any cleaner.

Yup, when I walked past it in the garage it was still filthy. I suppose I'll have to clean it over Christmas.

Hard to see in the photos but just noticed first car park ding, thanks to whoever was the inconsiderate oik in Tesco car park at 10pm last night ( was picking my son up from work and not parking to take part in the annual food fight in the aisles I would add)

More care of other people's property next time rather than worrying if you have enough Chinese frozen buffet food please

:( should be easy enough to correct which is at least something.

I'm still at the point where I park on the other side of the car park away from everyone at the moment

I usually park defensively in places like Tesco car park but last night, even at 10pm, it was almost full and it was chucking it down. I only went to get some money from the cash machine and when I came back, 5 minutes later, a different car was next to me and I noticed the ding this morning...Grrrrrrrrr

I've used paintless dent removal services before and the results are excellent so hopefully they can work some magic for you. Normally £30 - £40 for something that size

Yea know it's not bad, paint is completely intact and only little job for the Smartdent type people but just annoying especially as I will notice it every time I get in the car as its so close the drivers door handle.

I have two small dinks on the front passenger wing on my car no paint damage but it looks deliberate. It only had 300 miles on the clock when I noticed them.:crying:.had the garage near where I park the car to look up cctv but it showed nothing. So was unsure when it was done..

Dave, really sorry to hear that mate :(

Only a small ding in the grand scheme of things but still a kick in the nuts when you really care about your car as I know you do. Hope you get it sorted quickly.

TBH unless my OCD kicks in I will probably leave it until after the winter as I expect I will pick up another one or two, my cars always seem to be ding magnets, and will get them all done at the same time

Probably a good call.

.....just don't leave it too long, my old man runs a skoda and although he really looks after his cars he's picked a few dings over the last few years and now looking at £600+ to get them all done which he won't pay!

Quick question, i waxed my car about 3 weeks ago but i have some quick detailer....worth putting a coat on or just let the wax do its job?
