What have you done to your 8V today?

@Rob2k68 where did you get the red air vent inserts..mate your car has some very nice mods..

Thanks mate :friends: - very kind of you to say so!

Look closely and you'll see the 8P previous gen S-tronic gear knob that has the red S3 logo on it too. Little bits of red here and there to make things interesting - I've also put red leds in the footwell lights too ;o)

The vents are the genuine Audi red ones that were an option on the RS3, there's a good thread here though if you're handy with a rattle can ......

Not very exciting but fitted a rev H Haldex ECU control module to replace my rev D. Had it sat in the garage as was next thing to change whilst sorting my 4WD issues so thought I may as well fit it .....

Plug and play mate ..... once you've got the bolts out not much room for manoeuvre in there!

VCDS picked it up straight away, checked for errors and ran a scan - all ok. Prob do the same on Monday.

I should've been a bit clearer mate? What I was wondering is there a need to have vcds to install? (I don't have access to vcds).. :friends:

No mate - long arms and a bendy neck if just up on car ramps at the back. T30 Allen key for lower bolt and T30 3/8th drive socket for the top as that's all you'll get in with without removal of exhaust and heat shield.

Went from Chrome to BSP. The Grill & front inserts have been painted and the window trim & mirror covers wrapped. Loving the results. Looks just a little more aggressive Audi to me which is just how I want my car

Yeah I noticed it had jumped up to that price the other day when I filled up, the Costco near us is opening a fuel station this month and they say they will be around 15p per litre cheaper than the closest station...think they use the same stuff as Tesco. Works out about £7 per tank less to fill up.

Shameless plug on a Youtube video I worked on. (comes in 4K option)

New camera setup and using Final Cut Pro for the first time.

Nice video mate, but for me I prefer to jet wash the wheels first to get the majority of the brake dust off before cleaning ;)

If I do that and apply my wheel products it runs off quickly and doesnt stick to the wheel and doesn't break down the road crap on my wheels.

-3 degrees and damp roads this morning, at 25% wide open throttle away from the traffic lights no wheelspin whatsoever so it's working well. Impossible to say really if any of this is down to the later module as I strongly suspect that my Haldex has not been working properly for a number of weeks if not months.
