car mats!

Just a quick post from a newbie new A3 sportback tdi owner!
Have the standard Audi front car mats.I was trying to remove them today to clean underneath, however-very annoyingly(!) broke one of the built in fixing studs when trying to remove.One side of the mat removed ok but the stud nearest door on each side did not and ended up snapping underneath. Just looking for any advice for future from anyone who has had similar problems!

If it's a new car, take it back to the dealer and tell them that they ought to use slightly less brittle plastics.

Fitness for purpose and all that.

Not had this prob but removed mine very gingerly!

If u want new genuine Audi ones at anytime, ebay is usually best. I got a spare set for less than half price inc p&p - brand new, still in Audi bag sealed up.
