Stop MMI screen from raising up when starting the car

Does anyone know of a vcds mod (or otherwise) to stop the mmi screen from raising up everytime you start the car?

Press and hold the volume button to turn off the mmi not just mute the radio and when you next start the car it shouldn't pop up, I think.

Do I have to do that every time though? I want the redio on, I just don't want the MMI to pop up when I start.

There's no way to do it without turning the MMI off, which sucks. You would have thought that it'd be able to remember where you last had the screen and keep it, but unfortunately not.
