New A3 Owner

Afternoon All,

Got my A3 on Tuesday and it is amazing! Going to take some pictures but I have a bit of dirt on it already from a motorway journey. Spec'd as

A3 S-Line 1.4 TFSI 150 S-Tronic Mythos Black
Comfort Pack
Park Plus Front and Back
Privacy Glass
Sat Nav MMI

It was a stock car for the company as I did not want to wait but had most of the things I wanted. Just have a few questions before I start!

1) Are there any small retrofits or mods I can start with cheaply? I am looking at folding mirrors and adaptive headlights as these would complete the pack but unsure if they can be done and if so the astronomical cost they would be!

2) On my first motorway journey I got a stone chip! Its deep too so will need looking at sharpish, what would everyone recommend I do? Will a touch up pen suffice?

3) Cleaning - I do not fancy taking this to the eastern Europeans to clean so can anyone point me in the direction of some guides for looking after the paint work as I want to keep it gleaming (first new car).

Congratulations on the new car - it's a fantastic model. Get a set of Audi stainless steel pedal covers for about £50 from Stoke Audi.

I've breezed over the detailing forum and it looks daunting! Going to give it a quick clean tomorrow to get it back up to scratch then take a look at buying some product.

However, I can't find anywhere that sells te Mythos paint code LY9T, will Audi be able to help me out with this?

Yes Audi Parts Dept sell all the colours.
