I've post this problem before but not in the correct section on the forum so apologies if this seems like I'm duplicating posts.

I've fitted a late model RNSe unit (G) to my 2006 S3 but I'm having a few issues. The unit arrived set up using German and I know at this point the PTT button worked OK as a I pushed it and had a German voice start speaking to me. It also worked before with my previous head unit, a Concert DD. I changed the RNSe language to English and then within the nav settings I went to the SDS settings and changed from German to English. When I clicked save, it thought about and then said something like 'correct disc needed' and now the language options are greyed out and the PTT button doesn't work.

In addition to that each time I start the unit I see the following message.

When I take the disc out and reinsert, I see the following message for about 10 seconds but not sure if this is just the default while reading the disc and it then reverts to the 'Please insert the correct CD/DVD' message.

Bluetooth all seems to be working fine so I can use the left hand roller on the MFSW to scroll the phone book and Nav seem to work when adding destinations and retrieving traffic information but I am getting some errors recorded. The antenna needs upgrading so expect to see that error but the disc is a copy which was sent with the unit so wondering if this could be the root cause of my problems

My goal is to get the PTT button working again with SDS & PTT which worked fine with my previous unit as mentioned above. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You need to fix the images, you have linked them to google mail which is not going to work. Try photobucket.com for image hosting.

Sorry about the images, I couldn't edit original post so have reposted below ;)
