I was wondering if this harness works for the passenger's seat aswell as the drivers, cause im in the middle of install s4 recaros in se model with no electric seats at all... And was wondering about the passenger seat?? Any help would be great :)
 
One loom does both sides ive enquired and just need to make the purchase!
 
Ordered mine this morning :) just hope it isn't hard to install. You doing heated aswell?

I have just changed my complete interior, including the carpet and dash top.
It was a doddle, only took a few hours to swap the lot over ( no electric seat conversion mind )
 
The electric seat conversion will add time, just upgraded from standard sport (with elec lumbar adj) to RS4 comfort Recaro's...

glovebox/lower dash panels, centre console all need to come out and if you want to do it OEM, running the looms under the carpets can be a bit of a PITA, took me nearly 2 full days and I am a trained electrical engineer on helicopters....

Read fourcircle's DIY thread, complete with photo's (he didn't go under the carpets like I did though.....)
 
I was thinking about adding extra sound deadening to the floor pan if I remove the carpet as I have a proper soundsystem. May also install 12v feeds to the back doors for my illuminated handles and thinking of doing the rs4 pushstart mod!
 
Sounds good :) got my rears in today :) looks really nice just waiting for my loom to come now :D.
 
Rears are quite easy really haha, what color leather are yours?
 
I have all mine already need to change the driver door to twin window switches instead of four. Ive cut the rears and adapted them to manual windows. Also have built in doorblinds but there off a saloon so the shape is different :-(
 
Arrrrrr right I have seen a set of 4 on ebay so may go for them :) what color are yours? How arenthey a different shape then??
 
Saloon doorcards are the same but the window frame isnt. Mine are all nappa black and have bose badged and ambient handle lighting.
 
Did ypu get an email saying they would be a few days due to being out of stock?
 
No I haven't checked my emails, going to double check now tho...
 
Yeah received it last Thursday and fitted them today :) you had yours yet?

Hopingvto fit mine tomorrow how long did it take and how did you define which seat the harness matches. Basicallt are the connector labelled drivers and passengers. Did you have lumbar support beforehand? And finally did ypu use a 30a fuse near the dash fuse panel?
 
Ermmmm I started at about 9.30ish and was done by about 1ish could of done it quicker but wasn't in a rush... When you take the harness out the bag the two seat connections have different wire lengths and the longer one is for the passenger and shorter one is for drivers side. No I didn't have lumbar support before hand but the harness has made all the electrics work. I used the fuse panel to connect it all. I hooked the end of the harness into slot 44 which is for heated seats and run a bit of wire from I think it was fuse number 35 which is a 30amp for the rear socket in the boot for the power supply and ran the ground to the point just under the fuse panel on the right hand side. It's quite straight forward tho.
