Audi SD Satnav

Hi All,

So I've got my car on order, a A3 Sportback 2.0TDI Quattro (20ish days) and I've a question about the Satnav!

The details on the Audi site aren't particularity clear regarding the differences between what I can tell are two types of satnav. The question I have is does the SD version have traffic alerts, I'm assuming not as i've not specced the technology pack however I've read about an iPhone/Android app that gets those alerts. Also you can download them onto the SD card?

Pretty confused!

Privacy Windows
Comfort pack
Sat Nav
Folding Mirrors

Delivery expected in about a fortnight, getting very excited! Will be a huge upgrade from my A3 1.9TDI SE 8P!

I'm pretty sure that the standard nav does include TMC traffic but it's not that good. The tech pack includes online traffic info if you have connect, which is based upon google maps traffic data (which in-turn is based upon google tracking millions of android phones).
