Glove box

Morning,

I want to purchase a replacement glove box for my 2012 A3; the one in the car at the mo has the passenger airbag switch on the right. Would a box with the switch in the centre cause any complications?

Yes, because the one in the center is for cd changers etc so would have a hole all the way through to the inside of the dash, what's wrong with yours now as we've repaired them numerous times for clients.

Thanks Nigel, there's nothing wrong with the one I have; I am thinking of an iPod AMI install in the glovebox and am looking out for a box which already has the hole cut. The glovebox I saw for sale included the CD player but has the airbag switch in the centre.
