Hi just bought my 2016 audi a4 2.0 tdi 190bhp stronic and put on 20inch wheels. Put on 20s has anyone any idea about tire pressure should I just use the recommended 19s pressure.

Are you sure there are tyres on the wheels and they didn't just apply a few coats of black paint? What size are the tyres, only A4 with 20s to compare would be the RS4 and the online configurator just says 20" 9J, the 19s are 265 35 but given the wheel arches are wider you probably can't compare so you'll likely just have to see what works for you.

You can just about fit a finger under the arch. Look class though. Was talking to the dealer he's going to get me 19s. 10000 miles a year on dodgy roads probably for the best. Thanks for the help.

Did you tell your insurance about the 20's?
Yeah no problems the insurance put it down as Non standard alloys fitted to a used car. When I get the 19s it will still be non standard alloys.

My TT which has 20" wheels [255/30 20] is recommended 33 front and 28 rear for 2 passengers. 36 front 32 rear for loaded vehicle.

I had 36 all round and they seemed a bit soft. Will be sorted this week hopefully with 19s. Love a tt is it a new type any pics.

Since we are in the A4 section, I'll keep it relevant - here you go

so you ended up with less clearance than you had before? sounds like you'll have increased your rolling circumference by a fair bit so your speedo would be out. If you are going to 19s then the standard tyre size on those is 245 35 19.

I was looking at a set of 10J 20" Alloys, still not sure they'd fit nicely on my S4, the 255 tyres that them came with would look a bit stretched.

You said these were 9J? What size tyres are they running?

Not really up on this tire size malarkey and it being dark is not making it any easier plus they are minging from driving a few nights. But i got this from the tires 255/35ZR20 97Y XL. i really hope this helps.
