I'm interested to know too. My dealership told me to stick in BP or shell. V Power is now at 1.30 in my area, she said I can use the fuel saver but providing it ain't from a super market. Though I thought Tesco 99 was decent? Least it was in my previous car.

Well, essentially it was over 8p a litre different when I switched. Once I filled up with V Power and it was like £70, on Tesco it was £60 or something. That's quite a difference.
Some tuning site did a proper fuel test and Tesco 99 came out better for torque and power than any other brand, though almost down to negligible differences with V Power. Btw BP was the worst by miles, almost as bad as 95.
If you're a Tesco person whack your club card in to get free fuel later on. Plus Tesco quite common. But Shell do have triple points on V Power atm.
Alas I have to confess that I was sure the engine sounded happier and was more urgent on V Power, and also that mpg around town seemed to be a little better, but I never did a concrete test. The stats and power curve on the test suggest the more mpg was likely fallous. Rest probably psychological - I'm a down to Earth kinda guy.
In two non-related events, I stopped driving everywhere like a **** about the time I switched fuels, but car feels fine to drive and I have an extra ££ in my bank account.
