Q5 2021 Q5 Sat Nav not working

For 2 days now my 2021 Audi Q5 has not been able to load the sat nav on the MMI. It just says “please wait” but stays like that. I’ve tried a full MMI reboot. There’s a message that pops up to suggest it may have happened following some kind of update.

Is this widespread? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or will it be resolved remotely by Audi?

You could try a manual map update which usually includes updated software - its downloadable (around 25Gb) from that MyAudi web site on a desktop PC.
