https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2021-audi-s3-hatchback-leaked-baby-rs6-has-333-hp-140656.html# Yes, I'm bias, but no thx.. The softer lines and the awkward FL A4 headlights But ask me again in a year, I might say I love it
Good find on the link. Without the clamshell bonnet and larger keel on the headlights into the bumper, I wouldn’t have noticed, and they aren’t that obvious. I suspect anything more than a nudge to the bumper or front wing now more likely to cause collateral damage to the headlights. £££ €€€ $$$ TBF - I preferred PFL when the FL first came out but FL grew on me.
333hp so the future RS3 must be 433 or so? Leaves the RS4 at 450hp in the cold though! TX. Sent from my BBB100-2 using Tapatalk
Doesn't look that different to the current car, so from an external design point of view, it looks ok. I'm more interested in the Saloon. But it's the interior that will be the most divisive. And on current `spy pics` it's a No from me. 33bhp will be a nice step up in performance. Nothing silly, but enough to feel quicker than the current car. Which lets be honest, is quick enough for most people / situations.
At least they put a lot of effort into the camo Looks similar to out going model so it will please many but what do I know,,,, I drive a Beemer .
I quite like it, but then I live the look of the new A4....the bumper is similar to the BMW and Focus IMO, but then I saw my first new 135i at the weekend and that was pretty nice in the flesh. If they've kept the cabin at a similar level of quality and they improve the exhaust noise over these current WLTP cars I'll be interested in a couple years if my circumstances stay the same, but if I'm commuting again I'll be in a Smart EV or similar :0(
Front end looks very aggressive indeed l like it,headlights are a little too large and will look even larger on lighter coloured cars,as for the rear well it's a hatchback that's about it.333 BHP...S3 Saloon yes please and keeping my current car for another 18 months l couldn't have timed it any better
Doesn’t look too different to the current car and I too would be interested in the saloon when it comes long. Thinking about selling my current car for the new BMW 330d m sport for now, but long term definently has to be an Audi.
I doubt that grill design will be on the A3 or S3...that is RS territory....looks not bad, but I am a saloon guy and will wait to see that and S design to make judgement.
I'm glad I cannot afford one. I suspect the white is a bit of camoflague but the front is not cohesive, actually it looks terrible, reminds me of a computer game car for children. The lights on the back also look a mess. shame as the profile and stance are nice but your eye goes to the lights first. Colin
A better view without the camo. - leaves me indifferent (plus not touching another Audi down-under until they improve their warranty) (thanks to the Oz Audi forum for the link)
The one in the video looks tremedous in my eyes. The top pics less so but theres a lot of camo going on. ahem...
The 2020 A4/A5 S-line and S4/S5 all got honeycomb grill. That's the direction that Audi is going with the line up. I'd say it is almost guaranteed that the A3 Sline and S3 will have such honeycomb grill design.
Looks good and I like some bonnet sculpting. Side skirts look almost like mini running boards. Scarily exposed radiators though.
This is a mock up. According to Audi dealer this morning new A3/S3 has been delayed but will be shown at Geneva in March.
I recall seeing a so called Mock Up of the 2016 A3 facelift back then from Autocar prior to its launch and it was very accurate indeed
Looks pretty epic to me as well. Mock up or not, would be great to see flared front AND rear wheel arches on the new RS3 - they look ace in that picture. Unlikely that flared arches will make it onto the S3 though unfortunately. My next car will have bold paint - that red suits the aggressive RS styling.
Ain't a fan at all of the - - - - style especially at the rear, the facelift rear tail lights are nicer but l do like the front of the car...its a S3 is it not? So more aggressive with a styling kit on it,basic car wont look as good
Already been facelifted Sean, no increase! Perhaps the new RS4 when it eventually arrives will be diesel TX. Sent from my BBB100-2 using Tapatalk
It’ll have another 4 years to go then if the model lifespan is 7 years won’t it ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
