Hello — I am a first time poster and was hoping someone could share some knowledge with me about using my A5 coupe to tow a U-Haul trailer. I am finding conflicting information on the internet, so thought I would ask here…
I want to tow either the 5x8 or 6x12 U-Haul cargo trailer with my 2018 Audi A5 Coupe 2.0 TFSI Quattro S tronic. I would need to get a 2000lb max towing capacity trailer hitch to pull the 5x8. If I want to step up to the 6x12, then I would need to install a 3500lb max towing capacity trailer hitch. Does anyone know the trailer capacity for my car? Or if I can go ahead and install the 3500lb max towing capacity trailer hitch to pull the larger U-Haul trailer?
