Evening everyone.

Im new to the A6 chassis, so here is my Black Edition S6 Saloon in Sepang Blue. Techpack advanced, bose sound system, super sport seats, and god knows what else as in still finding things daily lol.

Im from a back ground of Audi builds, all of which you will find on here.

My first started with a 2006 Audi A4 2.0 tfsi quattro with a hybrid turbo conversion. Was 2nd fastest hybrid 1/4 mile recorded in the world.

We didnt stop there, we then built the first forged top mount garrett gtx3076r Audi A4 quattro in the uk. After nothing but let downs, we made an unconfirmed 500bhp but let the car go not long after due to lack of ambition to keep going. (All on here to read if you wish)

I then went to a stage 2 Mrc RS4 B7... threatened to supercharge but couldnt warrant the spend, so fully repainted it and made it a fine example (i painted it also) again available on here to see.

I then rebuilt my love for tuning and bought a 2017 S3 saloon and tuned it to 522ps and 673nn with a Turbo Technics v4 hybrid turbo. This was also the fastest manual recorded S3 saloon to date. Others have spent fortunes chasing a figure and still cant beat it. But i guess thats the build not the driver right??? Who knows.... but, Due to our expanding family we out grew this quicker than planned...

So we bought the S6.

Long term plans are a full genuine widebody conversion... by genuine i mean genuine parts. With RS6 turbos and many other options to take this car to 700bhp +

So without saying anymore, thats my intro finished!!

Hope you like the car and follow my build

Thanks mate, i liked the rarety in this one. The car, the colour and spec are just not really seen. Im hoping i can use this to make a stunning one off uk car. We are starting with power first, the widebody into 2019. Not a cheap job to do right, but i will be doing most of the work myself so will be highly documented for the thread.

Howdy,

Wide body please expand ? I know the Rs6 avant is wide body but there are no wide-bodied saloons in C7.
I know someone who has a done the same job on an S6 avant C7 they chopped the orginal S6 quarters and added RS6 rear quarters which is a big job.
The wings will be bolt on replacements right ?

Cant fault your colour choice.

In for the ride :racer:

Yes you are right, there is no direct replacement rear quarter for the saloon. So we will be grafting avant rear quarters and inner arches into the saloon. Rear doors, rear bumper, sideskirts and full front end is a bolt on replacement.
I own Project Customs in Leeds which is a custom bodyshop. We will be using this as our new company mascot.

Will be a big job and in no means straight forward, but it should be fun. Power will be the first step to introduce us to the scene this year, then as the parts are received the bodywork will start towards the back end of this year, hopefully ready to release in 2019. Maybe sooner, but this is the goal

Amazing mate ! I’ll pm you contact details for the people who did the Avant in case you fancy a chat with them. They did the same inner rear arches, doors etc etc.

Evening everyone.

Got to say, after nearly a week of ownership im really enjoying the car straight out of the box!! Almost makes me want to leave it alone!! (Not that i have that ability in any way, shape or form)

That said i plugged VCDS in and dropped her 20mm... and added some 15mm spacers to give it abit more of a wider stance. The ride is still amazing in every drive option, but what i also love is the option to Raise the car at any given time. Where has this car been all my life??

Heres some pics

I just tried it and it worked. Wouldnt let me go any further though. Tried 25mm first but the computer said no lol.

Waiting for updates like.. :whistle2:
We got it in for Ceramic coating on Thursday and im really pleased with how glossy it looks. Still havent fully corrected it yet either as we will be using our new sprayable paint protection, which offers a high gloss 200 micron, peelable, self healing, polishable coating to the body, with a 5 year warranty. Its also available in matt... but i may save that for another year lol. Being a painter means shine means too much to me

Also yesterday i stopped off at CM Tuning in Leeds. We worked with Chris Minshull on our last build which was the 522ps S3. Also Chris had done all of the mods on the B7 RS4 when it went to MRC Tuning (Chris is ex MRC for the ones that dont know)

Hes also an MRC dealer which means we should be able to complete the build power and body wise in Leeds, between myself (Project Customs) and Chris (CM Tuning)
Which is going to be fun.

So although the weather was poor, we still got a cheeky snap. Not quite as clean as Thursday mind..

Ooh. I wonder if he could map mine.

You'd be surprised . When you have a de tuned S4/S5 engine sitting in an A6 with a slightly different ECU it creates issues. Only the big tuners can do it , and they want big bucks to match .

Without the wider rear wings doors and sideskirts it seems like a half hearted attempt. Dont get me wrong its a damsite more to do it properly and everyone has a budget, but if it was me id rather just put a nice exhaust and a set of wheels on the S6 as it is over this guys conversion. Fair play to him though and his individual style. Good to see people trying different things

Afternoon all. Whilst nursing the flu at home, thought i would update my recent purchase..

Im hoping i dont regret selling the stock 20s as i really like them.

But that said,
Ive ordered some 9 x 21 et29 Vossen VFS1 with 255 30 x 21 continental sport contact 6's as i used them on the S3 and found them a quiet but dam good tyre.

Must say the lads at Lk Performance were very helpful as i told them i wanted the deepest concave possible running a stock set up. Hence the et29.

So also ive ordered some yellow powder coat to refurbish the calipers in a nice Porsche style yellow with S6 logos front and rear with the red Square to match the S6 badge.

To match ive ordered some 400mm 2 piece drilled discs for the front with polished bells to back up the look, with 356mm drilled rears to compliment the front. I figured with the wheels being so big and open that this was the perfect oportunity to make the brakes stand out.

Also ordered a non resonated Milltek turbo back exhaust with 3" downpipes and black tips. Then over to CM Tuning for hopefully stage 2 software on the stock turbos for this year.

Plans are to introduce the upgraded turbos for the stage 3 conversion when we do the widebody which is hopefully starting over xmas.

But thats miles away. ill make sure i fully document the conversion from start to finish to make the build thread interesting.

And so it begins

Why did you go 255/30/21 and not 265/30/21?

I love Conti's been running them on my Golf R for the last 20 months.

This is what they advised, but also i want the tyre to be like a rubber band as it makes the wheels look so much bigger. Also going to try get a little more out of the suspension if possible. Just leaves more room for manoeuvre
