2017 A4 B9 retrofit folding mirrors

Hello, this is my first post and I would like to say thanks for letting me join.

I've just fitted folding mirrors to my a4 b9, connected everything up, plugged in my vcds hex v2, gone into the control module to code, but nothing is being recognised. I am totally confused. Have I got the correct controller's for folding mirrors? Many thanks

Found this if any good:
Compatibility of the door control units must be checked: there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "folding exterior mirrors" is Midline or Highline

• To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
• Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
• the location of the ? "Question mark" is crucial
• ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 5 = compatible for retrofitting "folding exterior mirrors"
• ? = 7 = compatible for retrofitting "folding exterior mirrors"
• e.g. 4M0959793X / 4M0959792X are suitable, 4M0959393X / 4M0959392X are to be replaced
• In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets

yup as @cuke2u said i can 100% confirm folding mirrors work with 8WO 959 592/3 as i installed it myself with OBD11 back in 2018

Did you change the mirror adjustment switch?
