It's getting very cold out here in Michigan. Wife got out of work, door opened fine but would not latch shut. Drove home 1/2 mile holding the door shut. Then was able to shut door after getting home but now The drivers door won't open after unlocking with Key fob. lever has play in it like its loose. It will open fine from inside.
took it into the garage and warmed it up. Took door panel off. didn't see anything loose or broken. Sprayed some silicone lube on it. door handle works fine. put it all together, works fine. Put the car back out in the cold,let it set and again can not open drivers door from outside. Handle feels loose again?? Like it's not being pulled back al the way.Has about a 1/2 of loose slop when the problem arises.
Is it a lock actuator or other problem? the car is like new only has 28000 miles on it.
