2015 A3 2.0 TDI Engine Management Light Flashing, Limp Home

Hi all,
Pretty new to all this but I bought an A3 S-Line a couple of weeks ago all was well and good for the first week but now when I start the car and drive for a few minutes the engine goes into limp mode and the glow plug light starts flashing. I can restart the car and the issue is resolved but it feels like I'm still not getting the amount of power that I had during the first week of ownership. Any advice/ideas? The car is still in its warranty from Audi Approve Used but obviously at this time I can't get it into an Audi/VW garage to get it sorted.

John, you have fault codes logged, ideally read these with VCDS, alternatively a generic code reader will probably read them.
Could be many things, but EGR valve would be up there on my list of likely culprits.

Doesn't make much difference really, but as your car is a 2015 it will be an 8V so you're not quite in the right section of the forum.
