I have had a search and found others that couldn't keep the auto/Aircon light on so the compressor wasn't working.

Seems it might be a sensor or maybe they have damage to the radiator?

I have checked visually the best I can and doesn't seem to be large stone/object impact.

I have also ran a vcds scan and nothing coming up for hvac etc.

It's under warranty, but maybe top up of some kind of gasses? Would this be covered in warranty do you think?

My A/C light wouldn't stay on, after re-gassing its working ok now.

Doubt Audi would gas it under warranty. Would they change your worn tyres under warranty?

Yes absolutely warranty, the aircon system isn't a wear part like a clutch or tyres. The gas doesn't disappear unless there's a leak in which case its a fault.

The A/C hardware is covered for sure but I was referring to the Gas.

When I use my A/C the gauge on the display slowly increases from 0 to around 1/3. what is this and What should it go to?

I found out what the gauge is for, it show extra fuel consumption when using auxiliaries like A/c, heated mirrors etc.
