2014 Facelift?

Hi all,

I've been looking for a used 8V A3 and was curious to know whether there was a facelift in 2014? A few cars I have seen have different alloys on the 2014 onwards models which makes me question whether there was any changes made?

Just looks like an optional alloy choice on the red one. Top alloys are standard S-line ones for 8V.

No, just different wheel options were available.

Like every single car manufacturer, you will find differences to each model of the car it produces. You will find lots of them, lights, alloys, bumpers, interior & exterior trim. So if our looking for a 2014 A3 (like mine) then you will have 4 trim options, SE/Sport/S-Line & S3. I would say they are divided in to 2 similar trim levels, SE & Sport are similar body wise as are S-Line & S3. Engine options vary. Prob best to stay clear of the SE as they are usually basic spec. Personally i got a Sport model but wish i had gone for a 2.0 tdi S-Line as i feel is the sweet spot for the A3 as a daily driver.

To add further, if you go for a saloon there is (or wasn't in 2014 when they arrived) an SE trim. Started at Sport.
