Hi everyone has any of you had any experience with the turbo failing on the 1.6tdi's?
Had a look at a friends car, as if there is no boost, glow plug light flashing and eml on.
My code reader was very limited and never gave me much info but put it into a garage that had VCDS and they have said she needs a turbo?
3 codes in vcds i will post pics of diagnosis sheets.
Any help much appreciated before she shells out for a turbo if it could be the wastegate etc.
I've checked for split pipes all ok
