Hi folks, I'm looking for advice on remap potential of the above car, can it be remap'd without removing ECU.
a5 owners experience of different remap companies, ie good and bad.

Also anything I should look out for if I decide to buy this car.

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Had a Superchips re-map on my 170 A3 Black Edition, can very highly recommend it, they couldn't do it via Bluefin so had to get to ECU innards to complete but 2 yrs of ownership no problems whatsoever, gave it a nice kick at top end & MPG was slightly better too, win, win.

Cheers for the info Detector, apparently they can now crack the security in the ECU now so that the Bluefin can be installed, I gave Superchips a phone to confirm, costs around £60 for ECU crack and £225 to reset my existing Bluefin, previously on my A4 b8 143bhp . Looks like this will be getting done in the New Year mate, I liked the results I got with it on the A4, just thought I'd get some other mapping opinions before I went Bluefin again.
Agree with you re MPG, the A4 did seem to get more, especially on long motorway journeys, top end power was good but it was also good throughout the full rev range IMO.
Cheers.
