You should replace it together with clutch also, as there would be no point to open it all up again when it’s gone.
My clutch was showing signs of wear as it was slipping. It did however, after a remap.
I think it would still cope with standard 170 horses.
Looking around the internet for part (eco have some offers from time to time. Some of them even upto 40% off) and whole dmf+clutch kit is around £600.
Labour would be as 6-8 hours, been told.
Price for replacement would depend on, how much they charge p/h.
Round it to £1,000 easily.
How do you see/feel/diagnose your dmf is on its way out?
