I am thinking of changing the oils in the above now i have only ever used redline 75-90w in old cars i have had and i have seen that people say titan oil is the best so what have others used as the posts i have seen are for 8l and i have the 8p

Are you in the UK –if so, the Castrol oil finder is useful. Modern gear oil for manual gearboxes is usually 75W-90 (fully synthetic). For gearboxes it is often recommended that the oil is GL4 rated (as opposed to GL5) as GL4 oil has less “anti-wear” additives. These additives can harm the synchromesh on certain older design gearboxes – truly modern boxes can cope with GL5. The Castrol site will give some reassurance http://www.castrol.com/en_gb/united-kingdom.html
