Hope someone can help with this, just in the process of sorting a A5 ive kind of inherited. it's a 2010 A5 s-line TDI 143
it has climate control on a single zone only, when set to auto and the ac button is pressed it works fine, set to low and cold air is produced set to hi and warm air etc, if i turn the AC button off manually and set the vents to full (12) and the temp to 16 or LO all i get is very warm air and definitely not the ambient air temp outside. On a side note setting to 28 or HI creates blisteringly hot air and i mean really hot!

i know these models have an auxiliary heater to help warm the interior in the winter is it possible that it may be stuck on? i've scanned with VCDS and no fault codes at all.

hoping someone can give me some pointers on things i can try or look for

many thanks :)

Check for aux heater fuse, pull it then test the vents again.
