2010 A3 Quattro 170 Cambelt Help?

Hi Guys

I've just purchased my first ever Audi, its 2010 black edition sportback, i've got no history of the cambelt being done but its only got 14k miles on the clock, should i be worryed at all?

I wouldn't be worried as such, but the belt and water pump should be changed when the car is 5 years old.

Hi, welcome to ASN!

I hope you verified the mileage before you bought it. As above, as the car will be 5 years old at some point this year you need to get a timing belt kit and water pump and have someone fit it.

For the cost of the kit and water pump, it really isn't worth leaving it...if it goes kaput it usually equals a big repair bill!
