it looks that battery in my car had given up... any hints in replacing the battery such as
- MMI - anything i need to be aware of?
- Radio code - i do not have one so if i was to remove and fit new battery would i need one?
- and last but not least - one supplied in the car is Varta 110Ah. Any suggestions of using any other brand or lower Ah for 2.0TDI wit MMI?

many thanks

I would stick with the original batttery size if I was you. There is usually a reason for the manufacturer fitting a large battery. 110Ah is pretty big for a 2.0 it's the same size as the one on my 3.0 TDI. Is yours in the boot ?.
If so they need to be larger capacity to cope with the volt drop to the starter motor etc, also all the toys on modern cars heated seats, electric assistance for the heater, glow plugs etc all put quite a load on the battery.
I would stick with either Bosch or Varta,

Stick with like for like. Consider genuine parts from Audi, can work out cheaper than elsewhere sometimes.

No radio code to worry about, just disconnect and replace as normal.

cheers... hope MMI won't be temperamental post replacement. Ta
