Where do I start!
2005 A4 B7 2.0 TDI BLB
Car isn't being used much so I decided to start it/let it run.
It started and cut out after 2 seconds (numerous times)
Then I noticed the dash doesn't light up except for the traction control and airbag light.
Tried the battery disconnect incl short both + and - leads to discharge etc and it was the same.
Numerous battery cycle attempts and at one point the dash DID light up fully but said SAFE instead of the odometer reading.
I started it and was able to drive but I noticed I had no indicators even though all the other stuff people seem to have issues with seemed ok (windows headlights etc). It did show a low oil pressure light but I know that's definitely an electric gremlin due to what ever is wrong as when I started it again there was no warning.
Decided to disconnect battery again to try clear the SAFE message but now im back to no dash lights and it wont start.
