2002 retro sat nav??

hi i have 2002 a6 with double din stereo fitted! will the correct sat nav unit plug and play? which unit is required?
can i fit shark fin gps roof ariel to this age car? (avant)

depends which you want to fit , rns-d / rns-e, but there are good guides on there.

i fitted an rns-d to my single din which took some time, i needed one lead which i got from ebay...
