2.5tdi v6 cat removal ?

I did read most of the 2.5tdi tuning thread..... alot of which was beyond my skill/knowledge set.

I have a full stainless system, is it worth removing the cats/particalulated filter?????

Yep, it will spool the turbo quicker and won't be much noisier than with cats... Cats are a big restriction on that engine.

as said above. without sounding harsh for what they are they a big old lazy lump out of the box

would it be better having the originals opened up and gutted out ?

I'd just hit the originals to be honest, looks good for MOT
