2.0TDI 6 Speed Manual, Clutch gone!

Hi Guys,

Need some advice. I've had a quote from the dealership to replace the clutch and they've gotten back to me with €860 and €1450 if the flywheel's gone. Of this €450 is going on labour.

Should I look elsewhere?

Parts from UK maybe? Should I look at uprating the clutch in case I remap later? Does anyone have some recommended suppliers?

my clutch went just before xmas mate, cost me £660.00 at audi for a new one (inc labour) luckily my flywheel was ok but if not it would have been another 600.00!
i shopped around for about a week but could not get the price down so just left it with audi.
2006 A4 s line 2.0 tdi

Hey Jon. Everyone that I talk to tells me that I should change both. I cant understand how Audi can charge so much for the parts. I've currently lined up an LuK clutch kit and flywheel for about 500euro. Aparently LuK are an OEM supplier to Audi?
