Hi guys i have 2 litre petrol turbo A6 06 reg.
The engine management light comes on and I get the following codes.
P0171 (system too lean bank 1)
01602 Electric driver motor (V141) sporadic 002-lower limit exceeded
01287 Belt Tensioner; Passenger side disabled sporadic 001- upper
lastly these 2 codes 058583 & 08825 but no definitions found?
I had it looked at before Xmas but they couldn't find any leaks in the system, checked the N80 valve and seemingly that was working. It was tested at the garage I bought the car.
However on the computer I use to scan for codes its a Vgate scan it has a part where you can check the startup system and everything passes except the 02 sensors, however these were tested as well and I was told they were ok.
I have heard about a PCV valve that could go, I seen on the A4 thread there was someone having similar issues they had the 01602 code, also the oil cap will not come off when engine is running & when you pull the dipstick out there is a whooshing noise of air if you put your finger over it's sucks your finger onto it.
Any ideas would be great it goes for an MOT tomorrow so will also get it hooked up to their computer to see if it gives us more detail or info.
