I remeber before i had them fitted that it did say on the box that it was basically all of the new gen quatttro cars yeah! :D

Just bought a MK2 Clio V6, bought it as a project, got lots of cool plans for it!!
 
Staying N/A.. Individual throttle bodies lots of engine and suspension work over time.. Will be awesome eventually!

Anyways!! Any of the parts take your fancy!?
 
Can you give me some info on the engine and gearbox mounts. What exactly do they do?
 
Engine Gearbox and Pendulum mounts are designed to fit all of the transverse 2.0t fsi engined cars..

Basically the mounts on the standard cars are very soft, you can feel this by physically moving the engine around, now imagine this when your applying a load of torque through it, everything is twisting moving etc around which gives a very sloppy feel to the gearchange and a feeling of slack in the drivetrain!

The VF mounts basically are the full mount and incorporate a harder bush to stiffen up the full drivetrain..

Honestly you have to drive a car with them fitted to really appreciate the difference but i can honestly say whoever buys these will not be disappointed, they were easily the best mod that i did to my S3!!

Also they retail at £150+postage new..

I have each mount for sale at £115+postage which considering they have only been on the car for around 800 - 1200 miles and obviously cant 'wear out' is a very fair price

They are also very easy to fit, about 20mins per mount

Hey

The Cat-back exhaust sounds absolutely stunning.. No drone and a very sporty tone when your on the power! Designed to fit the standard downpipe, you can see the quality of the part when you check out the pictures

The Forge DV is the full blown Forge Motorsport DV which replaces the suspect and fragile OE piece with a proper piece, worked wonderfully, held more boost and came onto boost quicker too!

You can find tons of info on this part on the internet, sold over 2000 of them now i believe!

The other Forge part that I have is the adjustable Spacer which is designed to simply to allow you to choose between closed / half / open for where the boost is dumped when the DV opens, creates sound basically.. (for 2.0T FSI cars with the dv located on the turbo, NON S3)

With regards to the Forge DV, what I want to know is...is it a diverter valve (dumps back into the intake) or is it a dump valve (dumps into the air) - Does is make a loud whoosy noise?

I'm looking for a closed valve just to replace the standard item, not interested in whoosy subaru type noises.

Also not really looking for a loud exhaust, the rear section of that exhaust reminds me of the Spoon N1 I had for a Civic many years ago (Uber loud) with 2 outlets instead of one (The silencer part seems quite small compared to the Milltek).

If the valve isn't a whoosy one, how much would you take for both - where abouts are you?
 
I think noise it quite down to personal opinion.. but i woulnt say that its loud atall..

Remember turbo cars are a huge amount quieter than N/A cars, especially Hondas, they have HUGEE exhaust valves and are loud anyways..

On a cruise you cant really hear the exhaust, no louder than stock, well maybe 5%??

As for the valve like i said there is a ton of info on the net about this.. it replaces the stock valve and operates in the same way, re circulating air back into the intake so you have no more noise than what there is now, which is a tiny bit if you listen for it..

The exhaust is for sale at £275 and the Valve for £110.. I would do the both of them together for £360
