Yes.... my average over half a tank went up by 2.6mpg... so... after fitting the TFSI coils my MPG improved enough to raise my overall MPG of the last fuel up by 2.6mpg from the previous fuel up...
Ideally yes as the bolt down coil pack cam covers have no means to locate push down coil packs...

Its a coil pack... fitting new coil packs of any sort would potentially improve the way the engine runs but improvements are subjective at best

Point is... too many variables to definitively say new coil packs (TFSI or 20v) will make a big difference, just don't buy them if you don't need to thinking they will

That's very good advice.
It also carries over into the TFSi world when Okada brought out the coilpacks for the 8P,and everyone thought these were the next best thing.
At that sort of price,they ought to have been amazing,but the actual gains seemed to be very small.....I notice they also make them for the 8L,but I don't expect there's too many takers here either.
