    Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me where to find the VNT actuator module on my 2.0 TDI 170 (56 plate) please?

I'm experiencing what appears to be a fairly well documented issue with B7 2.0 engines in that at around 2,500-3000 there is an intermittent lag when I accelerate. It's not done it too often in the last 8 months BUT it has now progressed into doing it not just in 4/5th but now in 3rd gear.

Want to try the VNT before looking at other fixes (N75 valve replacement etc.)

    Any help appreciated - thanks

Had something similar (VCDS showed low boost pressure to turbo) mine was caused by failed PCV valve causing excess pressure in rocker cover (inbuilt on my 2.0tdi BPW engine rocker cover) and mine eventually sent oil into exhaust system - new cover cost £160 although Audi did ask for £180 at first....

Yay...another item to add to the potential cause list. Thanks Sean - I'll get this looked into.
