car cut out at 65mph on the motorway cranks fine VCDS reports G28 and Manifold flap Motor, fitted a new G28 and oil pressure sensor , removed the manifold flap and EGR: the EGR black Cog has worn teeth at the start of its travel but was nice and dry inside, the flap however was filled with oil!!! I cleaned the flap up and removed its motor and tested it on a battery and it worked, refitted it all and still wont start. I notice and black wire sticking out of a loom at the top rear of the head (is this normal) - when it stops raining I will try it with the EGR unplugged, then test for fuel at the filter.....any thoughts appreciated?
