My 2006 A4 (B7) S-line Avant Quattro mpg is somewhere between 35 on back roads to 44 on motorways.
I don't drive like an idiot (too many points on my license!!!) and keep to speed limits without harsh acceleration or braking.
OK, so it's had a cheeky remap so there's now 210 bhp and 320 lbs/ft torque.
Service history shows that every little thing has been done by Audi/VW.
Mileage is now 177K and it does pull very well and drives spot-on….. better than a Vauxhall with only 40K on the clock.
Gearbox is manual.
*EDIT* Before the remap, it was doing this sort of MPG and smelled terrible! Smell is all but gone now, about 1,000 miles since remap. I bought the car at 166K miles in February.
