2.0 t quattro.. clunk noise through subframe

Loud clunk noise through subframe when going around roundabouts. Checked suspension on ramp and no play to be seen.
Any ideas?

Have ya checked the coiled springs? They tend to make a clunk whilst cornering if 1 has snapped??
