1st Main Service

Had my 1st main service at Audi Manchester yesterday, everything went fine from drop-off to pick-up apart from the price (£360). Anyway, I drove my missus to her mums and she said 'ooh, what's that light on your dash'? Great! There were no warning lights on my dash when I drove it there, another trip back for a 'tweak' I suppose? (exhaust/gas emissions)

What exactly did the service consist of? How old is the car and how many miles?
Sounds pretty steep to me. I bought three services up front for £399 when I bought my car.

Take it back as I'm assuming it's still under warranty. Could be anything so no point guessing what it could or couldn't be.

£360, I assume that was year 2 oil/filter, pollen filter and inspection? I paid £220 at an Audi specialist last month for the same thing.

From reading threads on the forum about servicing I was too late to take up that offer, the car is a 15 plate, with 15k miles, will still be under warranty. Still, it's a bit worrying to go in with a 'clean car' to find there's a glitch which they now have to hook up for a diagnostics check?

Correct, maybe I should've shopped around at VAG specialists, etc. but it was too convenient.

They should have done it today TBH, I wouldn't want to be driving around all weekend with the EM light on!

Out of interest did you fill up with fuel before you noticed the light?
