2011 A6 2.0L TDI, 170Ps.
I'm hoping this could be something overlooked.
I've just had a new used low mileage Manual Gearbox fitted as the old ones shaft bearings were shot causing excessive wobble/ Vibrations.
Now the new gearbox has cured these issues with no more wobble/ Vibrations. It's now Alot more responsive and tight.
However the old gearbox also had an issue of not wanting to go into 1st gear at random times.
And now this new gearbox is doing the same but it's more prominent!
It will not go into 1st gear at all, It refuses to even push up into 1st from neutral Unless I slightly wiggle the gearstick to the right and the it falls into 1st gear with ease.
Does this sound like something needs adjustment? Or something else?
